About Angela’s mission
Health, data, and Al literacy are the new X-factors to ensure people become positive digital citizens, secure jobs, drive innovation, and have agency over their lives and how their personal data gets used.
We are at a critical moment in history when we can leverage and use Al for GOOD! Never has there been a more important time to create trust, drive literacy and out-do the nefarious players who exploit this technology for unethical or criminal purposes. Where some see the darkness of deep fakes, I see the light of cures discovered! But progress can only occur when, regardless of class, race, ethnicity, gender or age, we have the skills and understanding of how data and Al work and recognize how imagery and information can be manipulated or misused. The answer lies not in banning or rejecting Al, but in learning competency and accountability.
